Our Mission & Goal

Our goal is to support small businesses, local artists and companies that practice fair trade principles. Additionally, we look for companies whose brand values include: Not on Amazon, Women Owned, Eco-Friendly, Handmade, Gives Back, Organic, AANHPI Owned.

We strongly believe a gift has so much more meaning when you can share the story behind it - who made it, how it was made and who you are helping with your purchase. Our thoughtfully selected products reflect our love for the outdoors, dogs, books, travel and our cultural heritage. We hope to share all of these with you.

Many of the brands we feature in our shop give back in some way and we plan to do the same. We hope to empower women in our community to achieve their dreams by supporting various organizations that are dedicated to this goal. Additionally, we donate to and support the Vietnam Health Clinic. Vietnam Health Clinic (VHC) is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization "dedicated to expanding healthcare access and services to under-resourced populations while nurturing leadership and professional development among our student members." My husband Richard volunteered with this program in the summer of 2023 and got to see first hand the impact that VHC has on the people of these rural communities in Vietnam.
